Job Description and Information
We are an established landscape management company that specializes in total property care and maintenance as well as installations and renovations. We take the clients vision for their property and make it a reality while maintaining professional, efficient and effective work ethics and communication on the job. This job entails hard work in all weather conditions and can have long hours depending on the season. We are looking for people who have a passion for landscaping, hard work and transforming a property into a dreamscape for our valued clients.
Requirements for the job: You must be able to lift 70+ pounds, have a valid California driver license with a clean record, be able to spend 8+ hours weeding by hand, be able to adjust to an extremely fast paced schedule, ability to be non-abusive toward machines and equipment, learn and retain information on plant identification, have the ability to always ask questions and not guess at answers. We pride ourselves on solid communication and clear job outlines to keep our clients happy.
Desired experience for the job: One year experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right people, experience maneuvering trailers, experience with all types of gas-powered commercial grade equipment, including mowers, all hand tools, hedgers, trimmer, blowers, edgers, etc.,
All employees are required to bring their own small hand tools such as hand clippers, pruning saw, and weeding tool. Please maintain clean, sharp and working tools on a daily basis.
All employees are required to wear eye and hearing PPE as well as a company shirt and/or sweatshirts to identify yourself to our clients as a part of the J & G team.
All employees must be able to pass a random drug and alcohol test as required
